Located 12km off the coast of Sanur, Nusa Lembongan offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in Indonesia as well as several world class surf breaks. Fishing, mountain biking, hiking and a variety of water sports are also available.

Two main towns are located on Nusa Lembongan which has a local population of only 7,000. Jungut Batu is the one that first attracted surfers some 20 years ago. This is the main bay where the majority of tourist activity is based and accommodation ranges from basic huts to luxurious resorts.

Mushroom Bay, a smaller and very pretty bay with a beautiful white sand beach, is a five minute scooter ride away from Sandy Bay Beach Club. Popular for water sports such as paddle boarding, snorkeling, banana boat rides and paragliding, Mushroom Bay has calm waters and is ideal for swimming.
